Student injured after jumping from second story window

The Aquinian
A student jumped out of a second story lounge window in Harrington Hall Saturday night while being chased during a game of sticker tag.
He was taken to hospital for x-rays and released later that night.
Residence life Director Ryan Sullivan confirmed a student had leapt from the second floor of the building, but wasn’t sure of what led to the incident.
The goal of sticker tag, a residence game formally known as Assassins, is to tag a specific person while avoiding being tagged yourself.
A winner is declared after all but one participant has been tagged.
A source inside the residence said alcohol was a contributing factor.
No word yet on whether or not the student will be fined for using a window as an exit.
No other details were available at press time.

"No word yet on whether or not the student will be fined for using a window as an exit."

    HAHAHAHAHA.

Anybody who’s played this game knows how high the stakes are in the moment… I’m impressed!

I wonder if he did actually get tagged?

Blame it on the organizers. Why would a student feel so compelled to jump out of a 2nd floor window, intoxicated didn't help. Word here at Harrington Hall is that the student landed on a concrete slab (just happened to be there), broken his lower vertebrae and ankle. Got rushed to Saint John for emergency surgery. In the end, games like 'sticker tag' have their fair share of drama, we know that, but to justify jumping out of a window to avoid being tagged isn't right. Luckily the person did not have more extensive injuries. The biggest loss, I believe, is an entire academic year for him, he'll be surely missed.

He did not jump, he went to the window took off the screen and hung there trying not to get tagged. He lost grip and fell very hard, crushing a vertabrae and got a very serious injury.
Brittany I do not find this funny. This boy had to have an operation and is lucky that he had a wonderful orthopeadic surgeon to operate. The Aquinian should not be writing things that are not true, I am very angry that who ever they got their information from, was misinformed. Try asking his mother or someone who is informed about what really happened, he was NOT released the same night….he was a week in the hospital in SJ. and is home rehabilitating.
You should not write things that are not true, if you don’t know the FACTS, then do NOT write anything at all!
This game should be banned as it put a student at risk, and the safety of our students should be a priority!
Now for the writer of the Aquinian, “can you please post the truth instead of heresay?”

Alright first off this article is not accurate who ever wrote this learn your stuff!

Second off im honestly not surprised the aquinian wrote this two articles this year were also completly bull shit. For one the article on de-skanking was extremly offensive and completly irrelavant some one whose just jealous and the other about the vandalism in Harrington which had many facts that werent correct as well.

Point is ur really going to have to learn how to research your information , then make sure you get multiple sources that say the same story because when you publish something like this you look like a complete idiot..

Please who ever covers the next thing to happen in Harrington hall , do a good job its getting annoying reading fictional stories
