Message to Students – Volunteers needed for 2011 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences (May 28 – June 4)
Interested in becoming a volunteer? The University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University need your help to pull off the largest event ever co-hosted by the two universities. The 2011 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences takes place May 28 – June 4, and is expected to draw 6,000 delegates to our campuses.
Hundreds of volunteers are needed for event planning, co-ordinating delegate accommodations, directing traffic, operating venues, providing visitor information, assisting with academic and cultural events, and for our audio visual, signage and sustainability teams – among many other things.
For more information on our volunteer needs or to register to help, visit: http://www.congress2011countdown.ca/getinvolved.html
For more information about the local people involved in Congress, visit the planning website at: http://www.congress2011countdown.ca.

I hope that you will be able to volunteer for some aspect of Congress 2011.
Thank you.
