The St. Thomas Tommies women’s hockey squad edged the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers 3-2 in Atlantic University Sport pre-season play Saturday, Oct. 1 at Grant-Harvey Centre in Fredericton.
The Tommies swept the home-and-home exhibition series against the Panthers with a 4-1 victory Sunday, Oct. 2 on the island.
Nathan DeLong, sports editor of The Aquinian, was on hand for Saturday’s game. He live-tweeted the action between STU and UPEI.
