The Montreal comedian was set to embark on his first cross-Canada tour, ‘Jon Lajoie: Live as Fuck’ on Sept. 11. However, the tour has been post-poned as Lajoie has signed a television deal with FX Network.

The League, a show about a fantasy football league, is set to start filming immediately.  It includes a great roster of talent. Aside from Lajoie, Nick Kroll will be starring in the series with Paul Scheer, Steve Rannazzisi, Mark Duplass, and Kate Aselton.

He was set to kick off his cross-Canada tour at The Playhouse in Fredericton, NB, but had to cancel only two weeks before the show because of recent events. The show has been rescheduled for Jan. 16.

The Playhouse is calling on all ticket holders to return their tickets for the September show by than the Sept 11, in exchange for tickets for the new date at no charge.

Lajoie has only been releasing videos for just over two years but has become a YouTube sensation with songs like Everyday Normal Guy and High as Fuck.  His songs leave you with a catchy tune and a funny punchline stuck in your head for days.  He also writes and performs comedy sketches.
