Epilogue: The 365 project

Last spring, I was exploring Flickr and saw a new phenomenon, the 365 project.

Basically, you take a picture every day of something you experience in life. As someone who aspires to be a professional photographer, I thought this would be a fun thing to try out and see how far I get.

Admittedly, with the stress of fourth year I have cheated in resent months, but one year later I can still say it was a great experience.

It made me start looking for “that great photo” in things that people normally wouldn’t notice. The drawings on sidewalks, art on the walls, finding the everyday things that don’t normally look pretty and making them look fantastic.

I loved doing it. The best thing about it was that you don’t have to be a good photographer to do it. You can just like taking photos and, over time, you’ll get better and better.

It’s also a great way to view the world in a different light. It made me appreciate the world in a new way, and I know it will for you, too.
