St. Thomas faculty and administration reached a tentative agreement on Dec. 20, said communications director Jeffrey Carleton.
“Right now both sides are working to assemble the final documentation to make sure there is an agreed upon contract that will be brought forth for ratification to the Board of Governors and the persons of the faculty association.”
He said once the contract is ratified, the agreement will become public.
The full-time and part-time faculty contracts expired on July 1, 2013.
Carleton could not answer questions about when the contract will be taken to the Board of Governors, what the contract says, when it will be ratified or if he foresees any issues arising from negotiation.
