International Week

An international week is coming to campus from Nov. 12 to 16. The St. Thomas University International Students’ Association will officially unveil the Hall of Flags on Nov. 13 in James Dunn Hall to kick off the week. On Nov. 14, there will be a coffeehouse showcasing the talents of international students. An opportunities fair will be hosted on Nov. 15 by STU Global Brigades to discuss study abroad programs. To close out the week on Nov. 16, there will be a food festival featuring food from all around the world.

Travel to Berlin

An information session will be held on Nov. 13 at Tilley Hall at the University of New Brunswick from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., to discuss an opportunity for students to travel to Berlin. The trip will go from May 4 to 24, 2019. Although this program is led by UNB, STU students are eligible to participate.

Presentation on widowhood

Deborah van den Hoonaard will be giving a presentation on widowhood at the Forest Hill Conference Centre on Nov. 14 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Following her recent study, she will share her findings about women who have lost their husbands and how they’ve lived their lives since.
