Fall STUSU by-election results

The St. Thomas University Students’ Union had their fall by-election on Oct. 21. The new STUSU representatives are Jessie-Lynn Cross and Jason O’Hearn, the board of governor’s representatives; Julia Evans, student senator; Alex Nguyen, international student representative; Jonah Simon, Rigby Hall vice-president external; Lauren Hayes, first-year representative; and new off-campus representative Ravtej Singh.

Intersectionality panel

St. Thomas University Students’ Union sexuality and gender diversity representative Tyler Magee said there will be a panel on intersectionality on Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. He said there are five panelists and they will be from University of New Brunswick, St. Thomas University, New Brunswick Community College and from within the community.

David Coon office hour

The MLA Monday virtual office hour with David Coon will now be at 1 p.m. instead of 12 p.m. every Monday. St. Thomas University Students’ Union vice-president education Megan Cormier said there will also be themes for each Monday now.
