Winter Formal
Estefania Martinez, activities coordinator for the St. Thomas University Students’ Union, said tickets for the Winter Formal will begin to sell on Nov. 29.
The event is set for Dec. 8 at the Fredericton Inn starting at 8 p.m. with the theme “Gala Extravaganza.”
Martinez said the venue’s capacity is 200 people, so STUSU will sell 150 tickets prior to the event and leave 50 at the door on a first-serve first-come basis.
Mental Health Fair
Anahí Alvarez, vice president of student life for the St. Thomas University Students’ Unions, said a Mental Health Fair will be held on Nov. 30 at James Dunn Hall.
On Nov. 30, STUSU and STU Mental Health Society will host the Mental Health Fair in JDH.
The event, a collaboration between STUSU and the STU Mental Health Society, will raise awareness of mental health during stressful periods such as finals.
Alvarez said it will also share information on the resources available to students at STU and in the Fredericton area.
