    2SLGBTQIABP+ acronym change

    The Student Representative Council voted to table the discussion on the acronym change to 2SLGBTQIABP+. Sexuality and gender diversity representative Tyler MaGee said he consulted with the St. Thomas University LGBTQIA2S+ Wellness Coordinator, The 203 Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity and the Sexuality and Gender Advocacy group. He said he’s not adding or taking away any letters, just switching the order in which they appear. The SRC tabled it until MaGee got the approval of the acronym from Indigenous communities on campus.

    Funding applications

    The finance committee approved a funding application for $250 for the Debate Society.

    St. Thomas University Students’ Union vice-president administration, Matt Oram, said he received an application from a group named Venezuela180 and it will go through the finance and governance committees.

    Code of Conduct and operating budget

    St. Thomas University Students’ Union vice-president administration, Matt Oram, said he will present the Code of Conduct and the STUSU’s operating budget on March 23.
