Bursaries

St. Thomas University Students’ Union vice-president student life Kyle McNally said he received 17 international student relief fund applications this week and 10 have been approved. He said three emergency bursary applications were received and all three were approved.

Valentine’s Day contest

St. Thomas University Students’ Union vice-president student life Kyle McNally said on the night before Valentine’s Day, meme cards will be released on the STUSU Instagram as a contest for students to win gift cards.

UNB sex week

St. Thomas University Students’ Union sexuality and gender diversity representative Tyler MaGee said beginning today, Feb. 8, University of New Brunswick is inviting STU, N.B. College of Craft and Design and N.B. Community College to join them for Sex Week. The events will go until Friday and each day of events is based off of one of the love languages: words of affirmation, acts of service, gift giving, quality time and physical touch.

Cooking workshop

St. Thomas University Students’ Union at-large representative Victoria Young said there will be a sustainable, affordable cooking workshop with Greener Village put on during Wellness Week on Feb. 23.
