STU student found dead in home

Andrew Bartlett, a fourth year English major, was found dead in his apartment building early Sunday morning.

Bartlett, a volleyball player, attended a party with his teammates Saturday night. A fellow member of the team dropped the 21 year-old off at home early Sunday morning.

At 5 a.m. police responded to a call at his residence about an unconscious male. Police say Bartlett was dead when they arrived on the scene. The cause of death is believed to be accidental.

As of this afternoon the investigation is on-going.

The Aquinian will have continuing coverage of this story, including an obituary in Tuesday’s print edition.
